Pre-Engagement for Joined Up Care In Belper

joined up care in belper

We work with hospitals, GP practices, councils and other health care professionals to improve and modernise how we provide health care services in southern Derbyshire.

Together, we are aware that changes need to be made to our health services, to make sure they are fit for the future needs of our local communities.

We are looking at all the health care services in Belper and the surrounding areas and we need your help to make sure we have the right care in place now and in the future.

We need to look at how our health services are provided in and around Belper to understand how, with the changing health needs of the local population, we may need to alter how services are delivered. We want to look in detail at how people’s behaviour has changed towards the use of health care services and incorporate this in the vision for the future.

We will focus on:

• What the healthcare needs are now and what we expect them to be in five, ten, 15 years and into the future

• Services that are available now

• How we can improve the services

• How we can make sure we can afford this now and into the future
