Members of the public can find out more about health services in southern Derbyshire at a meeting this week.
NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is hosting a governing body meeting on Friday (21 August), which is open to the public.
The CCG has 56 member GP practices and serves a population of 540,605 patients. It is one of four CCGs across Derbyshire.
Clinicians, lay representatives, local government directors and key members of the CCG’s management team make up the governing body, to make it strong and balanced and help lead the organisation in planning, buying and monitoring high quality health care in southern Derbyshire.
The meeting, hosted at the University of Derby Enterprise Centre, in Bridge Street, Derby, starts at 10:30am. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01332 888183.
