Health chiefs are inviting the public to find out more about care and services in southern Derbyshire at an annual general meeting.
NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which plans, buys and monitors healthcare services for 547,000 in its region, is hosting the event at Derby’s Enterprise Centre, in Bridge Street, on Wednesday 7 October between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
The evening will include information and presentations from:
·Dr Sheila Newport, Chair and Clinical Lead of NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group
·Dr Paul Wood, who will be talking about urgent care
·Dr Ian Lawrence, who will be talking about integrated care
·Pam Wood, manager of the Voluntary Sector Single Point of Access (vSPA) project that has been set up to link health and social care professionals to the voluntary sector.
