Cancellation of Joined Up Care Derbyshire event on Friday, 19 May
A General Election has been called on Thursday, 8 June and in addition locally Derbyshire County Council elections are taking place on Thursday, 4 May.
‘Purdah’ is the period shortly before an election, when specific restrictions on the activity of public bodies, civil servants and local government officials are put in place. Purdah has been in effect for the county council elections in Derbyshire since 27 March 2017. Instead of ending after these elections Purdah will now continue, as it came into force for the General Election at midnight on Friday 21 April 2017.
Due to the restrictions set out during Purdah we are cancelling the Joined Up Care Derbyshire event planned to take place on Friday, 19 May.
Once the result of the election is clear, we will review the meeting timetable and we will use all communication channels to keep people updated on new dates and times.
